Pre-Filing Credit Counseling - 1st CourseQ.) How much is the Credit Counseling Class?
A.) For an individual filer the cost of the class is $24.00 and for joint filers the total cost of the class is $25.00.
Q.) How long will the online Pre-Filing Class (Credit Counseling Class) take?
A.) The Online Pre-Filing Class will take approximately 90 minutes from start to finish.
Q.) If I am not able to finish the class all at once, can I come back and finish it later?
A.) You may come back at any time to finish the class by logging in and will be able to continue where you left off.
Q.) When will I receive my Certificate of Completion for the Credit Counseling Class?
A.) The certificate will be issued within one business day after the online portion AND the mandatory online secured messaging with credit counselor has been completed. Please note that during the online registration of the class you will be asked for your email address and your attorney's email address (if applicable). Once you have completed the entire instruction, the Certificate of Completion will be emailed to your primary email address on file, and a notification will also be emailed to the attorney's email. If the attorney desires direct access to your certificate, please contact us and request us to email it to your attorney. Attorneys can register on our site under the attorney tab on our site and get direct access to his/hers clients' certificates.
Q.) Does the class meet all the requirements needed to satisfy the Credit Counseling Certificate of Completion prior to filing for bankruptcy?
A.) Yes, your Certificate of Completion will have all the required information that you will need for a Pre-Filing Course Certificate of Completion. The Online Credit Counseling Class offered at MyOnlineBankruptcyClass.com has been approved by the US Trustee to issue certificates evidencing completion of a credit counseling course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a provider's services.
Q.) How do I take the classes?
A.) Since the classes are interactive and the online portion is taken via the Internet, we have designed the delivery of the content in a simple and engaging manner for the students. After every completed section of the online class, you will be taken to the next module and so forth until completion of the online portion. Following online class completion, we will review your information, and respond with a Financial Analysis. After you reviewed the Financial Analysis you will have an opportunity to ask any questions or request any clarifications of the material covered and/or feedback provided by the counselor. A Credit Counselor will respond to all your questions. Once this required interaction is completed, we will issue your Certificate of Completion within one business day.

Q.) How long is a course completion certificate valid?
A.) Certificates are valid up to 180 days from the date that the counseling was completed. Certificate dates reflect the time and date the course requirements were completed. Certificate dates will not be changed. If a certificate has expired, the debtor will be required to retake the course to receive a new certificate of completion.
Pre-Discharge Debtor Education – 2nd CourseQ.) How much is the Pre-Discharge Debtor Education Class?
A.) The cost of the class is $23.00 for an individual filer and $24.00 for joint filers.
Q.) How long will the online Pre-Discharge Debtor Education class (Financial Management class) take?
A.) There is a 2-hour requirement for this course. You may take as long as you need but must spend at least 2 hours studying the course material before you will be able to access the final exam.

A.) Yes! Your Certificate of Completion will have all the required information that you will need for a Financial Management Class Certificate of Completion. The Online Financial Management Class offered at MyOnlineBankruptcyClass.com has been approved by the US Trustee to issue certificates evidencing completion of a personal financial management instructional course in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of a provider's services.
OtherQ.) What if I can't afford the cost of the Credit Counseling Course or the cost of the Debtor Education?
A.) $0$ BK Class, Inc. will waive the Course fees when a client demonstrates a lack of ability to pay the fees. A fee waiver may be obtained if filer(s) meet the following requirement: Filer(s) must be below 150% of the HHS Poverty Guidelines of the current year. If you meet this requirement you must submit your last year's tax return (as proof of income) and a letter requesting a fee waiver to support@myonlinebankruptcyclass.com. Please allow one business day for processing prior to taking the class. You will be notified via email with instructions on how to proceed to take the class. If you don't file taxes, please provide us with a document that demonstrates you meet the requirement (e.g. Welfare Statement).
